I Baked a Threadcake, Part 2.

Every year, Chris Cardinal & the t-shirt site Threadless.com run a cake-decorating contest, where entrants bake cakes that look like the shirts. I enjoy cake decorating, and their shirts, so I decided to make one again this year (here's last year's.)

The design my cake is based on is called The Sound of Silents. You can see my full entry on the Threadcakes site here.

I also made a video of the baking and decorating of the cake.

My brother and I recently made a video short. It's based on Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin? Jake wrote the script and did all the editing. You can check out the rest of his movies here on YouTube. Incidentally, this is his 100th YouTube video.

Nickelodeon's Orange Spectrum

My final semester at Alfred I took a class called Drawn to Diversity. It explores diversity, in all forms, in animation, comic books, and advertising. The program presents for fellow students, for kids' schools, and at Comic Conventions. Our class focused on animation, and specifically, I studied Nickelodeon, the children's television channel.
