Adventures In Matting!

Recently I had several photos featured in the Summer smART Show at the Flat Iron Arts Building in Wicker Park. I decided to mat the photos, and this was my first time matting images. Here's what I learned, broken down in a handy how-to-mat diagram. It all boiled down to the old adage, "Measure Twice, Cut Once."

I recently discovered Micron Pens. They have absurdly tiny points, this one being a 005 pen. Great for detailed, Sandow Birk-esque drawings, although the pen didn't last too long (about a week and a half from usage and pressure).
